NRN UK demands dual citizenship for all NRNs

The UK chapter of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has called upon the Nepali leaders and members of the Constituent Assembly to make provision for dual citizenship for all the Non-resident Nepalese around the world in the new constitution.

In a memorandum sent to chairman of the CA, Subash Nemwang, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, chairman of the Constitution Committee of the CA, Nilamber Acharya, and chairperson of the Fundamental Rights and Directives Committee of the CA, Binda Pandey, NRN UK has insisted that in order to continue links between NRNs and their motherland, the provision of the dual citizenship is a must.
